What's not to like? Lots of Grandma Moses paintings, plus antique glassware and pottery, history of the area, etc. etc. Also a wonderful little museum store filled with interesting gift items.

I could not believe al the displays and artifacts in this little museum. LOVED seeing all that Grandma Moses painted. An easy day trip from the ALbany area in this quaint little town.

The Bennington Museum would be a worthwhile visit if it were simply a museum explaining the history and crafts of southern Vermont, which are fascinating in their own right. Excellent art, local color, very good staff, kind enough to give me reciprocity with my l ocal museum. Excels in details of Grandma Moses' works and career. Special exhibit on American Primitives was outstanding.

Very well done. The custom antique car is an added surprise.
