Church Street Marketplace is a good place to look for a restaurant in Burlington with lots of varied choices. For shopping, there are a few unique stores, but also a fair selection of chains. I disagree with the last review about feeling unsafe on church st. There was plenty of police presence when I was there. Sure there are some punk kids hanging about, but many of them are wearing $100 north face fleece jackets and just trying to be rebels. more
Look, this place is famous, and has a lot of great shops and restaurants. It's easy to kill an afternoon here and almost everyone comes away with a bag or two.
