The farm had not officially opened yet but the grounds were lovely to hike around going from the gift shop to Lake Champlaign. If you are a rock skipper, the rocks along the Shelburne Farm shoreline are the best.

Huge and fascinating barns and farm buildings. Heirloom breeds of farm animals (horses, cattle, sheep), working dairy and bakery with great cheeses and breads. Great place to picnic or walk through acres of forests and pastures. Occasional venue for food festivals and other get togethers. A wonder lodge (for paying guests), on the shores of Lake Champlain.
