Went to Smugs as an alternative to going to Stowe or Sugarbush which we figured would be less packed during the holiday season. Well Smuggs wasn't too crowded - but we probably would have been better off at one of the other mountains. There are faster and more up to date lifts and more upgraded facilities at most of the... more

Stayed for a week during the fall. We were put in one of Aspen condo's near the top. Approx 1.5 miles from the resort centre. Nice and quite but nothing to do. You have to use a car to go swimming in the pool. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment. We even had a slow cooker. But the place was... more

We rented the studio condo with kitchen, living room area and loft. Slept 6 (queen pullout), loft with queen bed and twin bed with trundle. The studio was fine for our family of 5 but it was very apparent this was a time share condo. Nothing was kept up. The beds were hard (the queen pullout was the most comfortable... more

To think I was interested in owning a vacation home here . . . I loved the 2 bedroom condo and the beautiful surroundings. After an outing with my teenage daughter, I noticed an invitation to view a 90 minute presentation on vacation ownership. It said you would be rewarded with two free massages or a few other options for... more

Just got back today from a three night stay. One tip that paid off from reading this site was to upgrade to a premium room. Our room, called the Tamaraks, was very nice (although we could hear the family above us walking around). The one bedroom was plenty big for two adults and two children. I think that in order... more

Just spent a few days at Smuggler's over February vacation week. We are not skiers, but I wanted to try something different this, and the brochure sounded great. Overall, there were some things I liked, and some I didn't, and I think it depends on what you're looking for whether Smuggler's Notch is for you. I booked a Smuggler's Advantage... more

Beautiful scenery on top of the world. Environmentally conscious ski resort with friendly staff. Lots of families with kids. If you want a go crazy mountain with a more adult crowd this is probably not the place for you. The lifts are rather slow, but not overly crowded. No gondola, but the views are better outside of one. more

We spent outstanding money on smuggler notch because it's said to have the best ski camp for young kids. We really want our son who is 3 years old have a positive experience of ski. It's his first time. We ordered 3 day program for him. The first day he spent two hours there and seems fine. The second day... more

At two years ago, I went with my family we stayed at Smugglers Notch Resort for five days and four nights. The hotel was great, clean, and big room! We had fun to have many different restaurants, stores, games, pools, and etc that was so fun! I wish I like to be there again!!!! more

Went to SN with my wife and 2 tweens in July. Overall, it was just OK for a summer vacation (expensive for what you get). Once onsite, you could tell that this is a time-share resort. I think the perfect candidate for SN is a family with younger children. Family activities are geared towards those with kids under age 6.... more
