We had lunch at the Cliff House, at the top of the Gondola. Great lunch place, nice waitered restaurant, really good food, fab views, attentive and well dressed wait staff, and reasonable prices. We like to ski hard! 1st time in Stowe. Skiing with family 2 kids (6 & 8). 8 – 12 Feb 09, but no snow for over a week and the mountain seemed skied out. If you are a confident skier, a third of the mountain at Spruce Camp, will offer you little excitement, but may warrant a quick visit... more

The stowe is really great resort, i started to learning snowboarding this year! You can't bet the deal packages at stowe, you get two 90 minutes lessons and lift tickets for about $ 90! Lessons were really great, Stowe has lots of instructors so there were no more than 5 people on each group. I was able to go down... more
