We really enjoyed the film that was shown. It really did help us to understand Jefferson better.

My husband and I were in C'ville for the Coheed & Cambria concert on 4/29/12 at The Jefferson. We are huge fans of smaller venues, but had never been to The Jefferson and were hoping it would not disappoint-it did not! The staff had the line move smoothly and quickly once the door promptly opened at 7pm. I had my... More

The Jefferson Theater is an old theater, "seating" a little over 700, that has been renovated and has great acoustics. The venue attracts a wide variety of music, from Stephen Stills to Bruno Marrs, as well as many local favorites.Unfortunately, the shows that I have attended there only has the balcony seating available, with the rows being so close together,... I've been along the East Coast to see concerts in many different venues and this one is my favorite. The architecture is stunning and I just love the environment. I love the slanted floor and the fact that the bottom is standing room only. When you need a break from standing there's an upper balcony that gives you a bird's... More

This theater is a great place to see a concert. The floor slopes upward towards the back, so you can stand anywhere and see the stage. Also there is a balcony where you can sit to watch. The band I saw, They Might Be Giants, said at least twice during the show how cool the theater is. Wish I could... More

This was our second time to the Jefferson Theater for a concert. I love the venue! Lots of room -either on main floor or upstairs in the seated area. The taco place is also excellent. Loved the pork and ginger empanadas and Red Stripe!

Went to the Jefferson Theater for a concert and was impressed overall. Theater sits in the downtown area. Looks small from the outside but opens up somewhat inside. Large fixed seating area in the balcony. Balcony overlooks large floor in front of stage. Two bar areas. Small cafe adjacent to lobby area for munchies. Bathrooms were a bit small and... More
