After reading the reviews of the Glass Palette on Trip Advisor, my daughter, who was visiting, and I took an afternoon from touring the "outdoor" sites to enjoy an air-conditioned afternoon on a 90+ day. My girlfriend and I planned an overnight trip to Charlottesville and, based on a TripAdvisor review, we planned a visit to The Glass Palette. It was a great time! We were told to allow 90 minutes for our creation. Maybe we're slow, maybe we spent too much time deciding what to make, but those 90 minutes flew by unnoticed. We... more

The Glass Palette is a great place to see the art of glass--fused glass, glass and metal clay jewelry, stained glass art objects, etc. I am from Mississippi and came up for a week to visit my daughter in Charlottesville. She had already recommended that I come by The Glass Palette and try one of their "walk-in" glass art projects.... more
