As a fan of military history and space travel, the Virginia Air & Space Center was a let-down. It is geared more towards young children. I wish the center would focus more on HISTORY of aviation rather than on exhibits such as global warming. If you want your child indoctrinated, this is the place. My husband is a military pilot and we have been to many airplane museum type places up and down the east coast. I was impressed with the Hampton Museum and my kids (4, 6, 9) had a blast! I love air and space museums so naturally I was excited to get to this one. It was okay but if you've been to Cape Canaveral, then you've already seen the space stuff displayed here and more.
