We live near here. It's like having a vacation every time we visit for a short time. We even camp in our hometown. It's just that nice. Trails are fantastic!

This is a great place to visit. They have a beach with a diving board which has become a feature of the past. You can camp in a tent, a camper, or rent a cabin. There is a 110 man made lake (from an old CCC project). Fantastic walking trails. There is a nature center that is worth seeing.

When we drove through it was off season but it looked like a great place to take the family during the spring, summer, or fall! Lots of places to swim, play, rest, and relax off of the beaten path! Hopefully we will visit this year!

I have attended the yearly craft fair a few times and always enjoy it. Used to go swimming when my son was younger many years ago; but the cost per person to swim started getting a bit steep for me. great trails

Cabin #11 was conveniently located, nicely appointed with rustic furniture and adequate kitchen supplies. Beds (1 full and 2 sets of bunks) were comfortable with nice linens and extra blankets. This was my first stay at the park although others in the group had been there before. Several very nice hiking trails and a lovely 5-6 mile trail around the... More

This is a beautiful state park however the cabins need updating (the older ones as well as the ones built in the 1970's). Only one cabin is on the water. The staff here is amazing and will go out of their way to do anything for you. We stayed there in the middle of a blizzard and they were great... More
