We visited the park with our 5 year old and really enjoyed it. The animals stuck their heads in the windows and drooled on the car so the experience was complete! ;-) more

My family and I discovered Virginia Safari Park in July and we've now been there three times. Everyone, from my nine-year-old son, to my outdoorsman husband, to my seventy-one year-old mother, to my two aunties from New York City, thought it was fabulous. My wife is blind and has a service dog that must be with her at all times. They refused to allow us in the park, first telling us that they "don't need to allow us in because it's privately owned" (which is a lie), and then later telling us that "the animals will destroy my car and kill my dog".... more

We loved feeding the animals on the safari. There's also a little zoo that you can walk around afterwards. Now that I have gone here, other zoos just seem boring. I love feeding and petting the animals instead of just looking at them from far away. more

We had a good time, it was great getting to see an feed amimals like zebras and giraffe. One of the large camels stolled our grain bucket, ate the grain an then ate the bucket. The other animals were pretty basic, but still fun to interact with. more

I went here with my family and we all loved it!! It was so fun. To drive through the park takes about 1 hour + in this time you get to feed buffalo, deer, zebras, camels., llamas and ostriches to name a few. They do offer a tram to take you in the park but it is nice to take... more
