Breaking News !!! Laxman Jhula is a suspension bridge !!! Though built for pedestrians it accommodates motor bikes, cycles and even cows. At the end of the day it is as good a suspension bridge as any in the world. Whats the fuss about ??

idyllic viewing it from the Ganga, good for a walk but a bit overcrowded and sometimes the locals in two wheelers could be a bother
Its nice..a lot of restaurants are also there.. Food tastes especially good in rishikesh ! Must try the Italian. It probably has the best Italian food ever...
nice place to visit and see the ghats little traffic like cycle and stuff, there are affordable shops if you want you can buy it from them
Laxman Jhula is a bit croudy but a nice place to enjoy a good breakfast or meal in the different restaurants. We just took some place and read a book or enjoy the view on the river or look at all the people passing by. Nice walk between the bridge from laxman Jhula to ram Jhula

Even though this place is supposed to be a must on a visit to Rishikesh, i would advice you to try the Ram Jhula instead. Nice shopping stalls on affordable prices. People are nice out there Helpful and you can see a lot of tourist coming from abroad. Nice play to peek into. Aspen Camps rishikesh also took us through the Laxman Jhula which was surprisingly good for the people who have not seen it before
The place has an awesome feel...must visit the German Bakery overlooking the ganges!
There is a feeling of tranquility even in the midst of a huge throng of tourists...the place is forever buzzing yet relaxes your mind and soul!
The view of the Ganga from the bridge is breathtakingly beautiful.....
Its a delight to shop at the small shops selling...
