I spent 2 weeks in the Nicaragua Mia school and after that I was able to communicate and to have discussion in spanish. The total immersion and the 4 hour class every day are perfect to learn and to progress quickly. In Bonus, great activities around Granada are organised and there is a very good atmosphere. I recommand !

Had a great time learning Spanis, meeting other travelers, and seeing the sights of Granada. Came here at the beginning of a much longer trip to Central/South America and the Spanish I learned is still helping/developing now, a couple months later.

First I did not want to go to another Spanish School, but Friends recommended me to try Nicaragua Mía Spanish School. I found a very cute and enganged teacher, that really helped me to adjust to the Nicaraguan style, which was extremely helpful after the first lesson! So I can really recommend visiting this school. It's central and absolutely worth... More

It is simply a waste of time. Ok, ok they are nice but simply too unorganize. The teachers are always late, they normally don´t speak one word of English, so when you are confused, you can´t get help. I have been to others in Granada and they are working a lot better.

Ahhh Nica Mia! What a great school to start my Spanish studies at. They set me up with a wonderful homestay and my teacher, Martha, was incredibly sweet and articulate. If you can, try to request her. The school organized afternoon outings to places like Laguna Apoyo and musuems and such. The schooling was super varied, so it was intense,... More

I took lessons in Nicaragua Mia for more than two weeks. My schedule was difficult because of my on and off traveling. The school was very accommodating in switching my lessons from morning to afternoon and vice versa. The atmosphere was very friendly and one to one lessons with my teacher, Aura, very interesting. The only way to improve your... More

Over the last couple of weeks I took private lessons at the Nicaragua Mia Spanish School in Granada. I was not at all sure what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. First off the whole group were welcoming and friendly. My teacher was Flavia Caballero and I cannot praise her teaching ability enough. She is friendly and kind.... More

I would highly recommend studying at Escuela Nicaragua Mia. I studied there for 3 weeks and feel that I learned a lot in those 3 weeks. Each day I studied for 4 hours with my teacher. She did her very best to provide me with material that would help me improve my knowledge of Spanish and also corrected my errors... More

The one-to-one Spanish instruction at this small school guarantees that you will emerge from the program with a stronger command of Spanish and the confidence to use it. The friendly staff is very accommodating to the needs of students and provides a variety of afternoon activities and field trips that can meet a range of individual interests. Highly recommended.
