The Norfolk Naval Base Tour was very interesting and informative. For only $10, it's an hour-long tour where a bus takes you on a tour of the naval base. Takes you by all of the piers where the ships are in port and around the base. I went on this tour with a friend who has been in the Navy... more
I took my 11 year old niece and nephew on the tour. We boarded a nice, comfortable bus. The tour guide (a sailor) was fantastic and had a great sense of humor. Unfortunately, there was no microphone and so it was a struggle to hear him at the back of the bus. We saw a submarine and several different types... more
We took the Naval Base tour and was pleased with the tour. Pictures were not allowed when driving by the ships, however for the rest of the trip, we could take pictures.
