Disclaimer, we've been on many a battleship and submarine in our travels around the US. For a first-timer, this would have been a great experience, but it's topped by both the Intrepid and the Midway. Don't shoot me, but once you've seen a battleship, you've pretty much seen them all. It was entertaining to watch the rehearsal for a revue... More

Tour was great. Take time to do the extended tour. I love to see the technology of WWII.

What else can you say? It is an experience to be on a huge battleship and wander around on the deack amongst the giant main guns.

The Wisconsin has finally opened some of the interior spaces on board the ship which makes the visit more "real". It's quite an icon on the Norfolk waterfront and the Wisconsin exhibit inside of Nauticus is definitely worth the time and money.

This is so great to be able to explore this Battleship to get a taste of what our troops and military does for us. I was blown away by the size of the guns and equipment they had to maneuver. The battleship was incredible. My only complaint was that all of it was not open for exploration. Great attraction and... More

We have a membership to Nauticus and were able to tour this ship. My husband loves history and war so he was excited to get to walk around. You get a slight feel for what it would be like to live as a sailor. Plus lots of history of how it operated, tours its made, etc. Overall good experience. We... More

Took a tour of this ship in April, 2012. Our docent was a young lady who was full of enthusiasm and very knowledgable. You could tell she enjoyed her work. There is a lot of history in this WW II era battleship (brought back to service as late as the Iraqi War) and well worth a visit for nautical enthusiasts.... More

While the battleship is the main attraction, the volunteers who are former service men are also worth the visit. Extremely helpful and proud to introduce the "Wisky" to the public. The immensity of the ship, it's history and it's role in US wars (the latest being Kuwait and Iran) is awesome. Films and museum augment a great attraction.

You can actually walk all about this battleship and go on different decks! It is very interesting! See the film about the life of the young heros spending six or months at sea on the USS Wisconsin!
