It was a very enjoyable experience, learnt a lot about the different ports and the group playing and singing Fado was excellent. The two choices of port for tasting were also excellent.
Great way to learn how Porto Wine is produced. Nice people, great wine and delicious chocolate with Porto Wine (try the chocolate, it is worth!).

There are about 40 historical landmarks of Port and Harbour Cálem stands out as one of the most popular within these. Being the market leader in Portugal, with its famous range of Port Velhotes Tawny, Ruby, and White, almost all Portuguese families know the name Calem Port.
We stopped here for the tour and enjoyed the history of Port production in video and in touchable exhibition facts. It's a short tour followed by sampling of a few kinds of porto in a great setting.
We took the Calem tour with our 3 kids. It was fast and the tour guide provided the right amount of information regarding the different wines they produced. A must visit spot in Gaia.
We visited Calem in October 2011. We had already visited the Croft and Taylor tours which were a pleasant experience. The buildings alone are worth a visit.
