Although it is a bit if a health and safety night mare if you have young children it is still worth a visit. With free literature and a charge of €3 for an adult it is wonderful value. You can walk along the original ramparts etc.It is situated in a really lovely village with a few eating places and bars.

After cycling the 12km it was a great disappointment that the castle was closing when I arrived at 11am. Looks like a good castle to visit. Sadly I may not return for another visit

Found this by accident when driving around. There's not a great deal there, but a walk along the ledge around the walls is a must - it's not really that high, and the views are magnificent, all the way to Menorca on the clear day we were there. Some days have falconry displays, so check with a tourist office.

Interesting place with fantastic views. Doesn't take long to do but what little there is is well presented.

This place must have been really something in its hay day. Not great if you have vertigo but if not well worth the visit.

Great 360 degree views, but that's what it was built for anyway! The walkway around the walls are an experience. They may not be suitable for those who don't like heights. The walk way is just wide enough for 2 people to pass each other. There was a falconry display when I visited.

This castle is definately worth a visit as you have complete access to all the battlements and to the small chapel. The sea views are spectacular as is the surrounding countryside. Excellent value at only three euros admission. Below the castle is an excellent restaurant.

This 14th century castle, which has been added to over the years, has survived well and is worth a visit. It retains its striking church as well as the Governor's House, which currently houses an exhibition about weaving. You can climb around the ramparts of the castle - great views but you'd need to be careful with small children. Admission... More
