The breezer is the best way to see the west side of the island. The buses run every half hour and you can hop on and off anywhere. However the drive up to the needles old battery is nothing short of stunning.

We got the ferry over to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight for a day trip. We decided to take the open top bus tour around the countryside to the Needles. The views were fabulous and the commentary informative. It provided an excellent way to see the Needles and the new and old battery. It also saves the long walk...
