Looks nice but a bridge going nowhere from a town that has seen better days.

Fantastic piece of architecture, a credit to Castleford regeneration
this attraction has been the subject of much hype but in my opinion the bridge is just a standard metal construction. not at all aesthetically pleasing, give me stone and character any day of the week. very boring attraction
Its a beautiful bridge but i would be very dissapointed if I had travelled a long way to see it. Great for locals to have lunch on but once off the bridge, then what?
visit this bridge with a camera as the light is fading , the bridge transforms from "a bridge" to an amazing bridge with the lighting .the muppet that said its a bridge get over it wants to get out more ,the visit is particularly good if you include a fish and chip supper at mamas

A very beautiful bridge but what now? It does not look like it belongs as there is nothing else around it. A few smart shops and restaurants would be nice but they are all in wakefield
The footbridge is a nice piece of workmanship. Its nice to stand on it and watch the river flow.
I live in castleford, barely anyone uses it. They spent £4,000,000 on a bridge no-one uses, that draws about 3 tourists a month while the town falls into recession. It's a bridge, get over it.
