Although a bit of a challenge to get to, it was well worth the effort. The house and grounds are magnificent. You can understand why Churchill loved the place. Very well run.

We go here at least 5times a year. Gardens are beautiful. Lovely views. House very interesting. Restaurant has the most gorgeous scones. Always fresh!

If you enjoy history but in the modern era, then Chartwell will not disappoint , the house is interesting to walk around but it is the history of the house and in particular Winston Churchill

So much history and the house looks like it was when Churchill resided there. His studio was so interesting aa well as the grounds of the property. Lovely restaurant!

Chartwell is the beautiful home of Winston Churchill. The staff were, as you would expect, very knowledgable however, it was their enthusiasm for the subject that made a very interesting house, fascinating.
