Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a hidden gem! We stayed overnight at Culebrita beach and loved the snorkeling around the bay. The hike to the Piscinas de Culebras was easy, but best with hiking water shoes like Keens. The sunset was so magical, there was even a rainbow!

Fabulous return service to Culebrita island from Gammys Water Tours .
Capt Gammys service and enthusiasm was incredible - we had a fun speed boat ride to the island . Waded in with our beach stuff .
He ensured we were safe & provided snorkelling Eq , a paddle board & umbrella .
The island is one of the most beautiful beaches I’d ever seen . Fantastic snorkelling and wildlife eg sting rays.
Go if you get the chance - we all really want to return . Such a special day .

Absolutely beautiful beaches, awesome smoking and cool views from the hiking. The hike to the lighthouse is a challenge, but worth it. The trip out on the boat felt like an adventure.

short but pricey hop out to island via water taxi,,but worth the trip,, interior has trails from one side to the other,,buggy, but fast ,and great beachs with calm beautiful water on both sides,.,. decent snorkling, walks, swimming, exploring. day went by fast, 11am-5pm....bring water, food, and if affordable , hiring boat to go would be luxury.

Great getaway, off the beaten path. Small island life, without all the resorts and tourists (and with the typical island idiosyncrasies, including some bugs, occasional issues with water supply and transportation, and inconsistent business hours). If you feel entitled, want to be pampered, and want to be with people like yourself, stay at a resort. If you want a small, friendly getaway with amazing beaches (the best of which require some hiking) and diving/snorkeling, incredible views, great local food, and friendly locals, this is the place!

We just finished our visit in Culebrita. For me it is waaay better than Flamenco beach. We also used H2O water taxi to go there. They are very awesome! Dont miss Culebrita when you are going to Puerto Rico!

The south side has an amazing beach but beware of the bees and nozeums who are vicious (at least in March) bring long light pants and long sleeves. They take a bit away from the beauty of this secluded place.

Beautiful scenery and pretty good snorkeling. Saw goats come right up to the beach. However, in a matter of minutes of being on the edge of the woodline I was attacked by the largest swarm of mosquitoes I've ever seen in my life. I had no less than 100 bites in about 3 minutes and had to jump into the water to get them all off of me. Went back to the boat, and they seemed to follow us and we were were held "hostage" by these mosquitoes all night. Was really disappointed that we couldn't explore the island due to this as I was looking forward to hiking up to the old lighthouse.

Six of us went on Bill's Catamaran all day excursion to Culebrita. We anchored off a beach that was great for snorkeling and then after a mid-day snack swam ashore for a hike to the historic lighthouse and another swimming beach. Upon return to the boat we had a warm meal with fresh fish and all the trimmings that was delicious. Great day!!
