We stopped by to look at Happs Pottery. You can't just look, it's all so lovely you just have to buy something.

Not just a winery, we wandered around the pottery shop, checked out the small gallery and appreciated the beautiful gardens. The wine was pretty good too!!. A great place to visit and the staff were pleasant and friendly.

Happs is right by the township of Dunsborough, so super close if you are staying downtown. Of all the wineries we visited, this had the most consistency throughout the range and was priced very reasonably. (the 2010 Cab Sav for $25.00 is a steal). The staff member Leonie was great, she knew her stuff. Maybe I shouldn't put this in, but she was not pushy about sales and didn't treat us as if we knew nothing about wine.

Worth visiting for the huge range of wines, especially Italian varaties. Also have a look at the pottery.

Only winery where we found excellent Sangiovese and Nebbiolo! Not a common wine among the many producers in the area. Unpretentious, despite the fact that it’s among the oldest wineries of Margaret River, it makes you feel welcome and appreciate the passion they put in making wine.
