PPW is a wonderful place to visit. We have gone their multiple times for a basic wine tasting, enjoyed their cellar tour as well as just going to eat and relax. The food is excellent however you don't get a lot so don't expect a heaping plate. The menu items are creative. And we love the wines!!

Great new facility with good quality wine. Tasting room is large and there's a cafe attached that serves small plates as well as lunch and dinner on certain days. The facility also holds events such as weddings and wine pairings. Nice winery without having to go out west.

Took the wife here for the wine tasting. She had a great time and found a wine she really liked? If wine is your thing and if you want something local you need to go here?

My husband and friends of ours stopped in on a Friday evening for dinner and a wine tasting. You could choose from 3 different wine tastings. The staff doing the wine tasting was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed most of the wines we tasted. We had dinner in the bistro afterwards. It was mostly sandwiches and tapas, but the... I went with a group of ladies from my Officer Spouse Club on January 4, 2012. There were about 20 of us and many were excited to once again return to this winery. When you arrive, you must pay for your tasting before doing anything else. I had not been there before but one of the ladies said to be... More

Was in the area for a wedding and decided to stop by afterwards. They are open until 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. On Friday nights they have music, at least during the autumn. Nice patio and a ballroom with a patio (which was being used by a wedding) and an outside sitting area on the hill overlooking the... More

Just before football kicked off last Sunday me, my girlfriend, and some friends went visited Potomac Point Winery. (Website: http://www.potomacpointwinery.com/Contact.aspx) The winery is located down a long, windy road off of Rte 1. Though its remote surroundings the winery was quite worldy in both appearance and menu. The wine tasting was great fun, for only $10 we were able to... More

Excellent tucked away winery, delicious food and wine. Setting right by the vines, outdoor seating and entertainment some nights. Great menu, great wine, worth a visit!
