Wonderful historic home of the Lees. Make sure you reserve a whole day to explore the house and grounds.
Took our friends from Ohio there. Trip was very enjoyable and the presenters were so good at telling the story of the history of the house. View was tremendous. Well worth the price of admission.
This wonderful place will take you back in time & cause you to relive the life of our ancestors. Take the time to visit.
Coolest part is the grounds and seeing Robert E Lee's carving in the childhood room fireplace area.
property is beautifully maintained and situated on the potomac with spectacular views; catch a few moments from another time. You will enjoy it.
