My girlfriend and I discovered the privacy and solitude of Backbay a couple of years ago. We especially liked walking along the loooong beach. And if you walk 9 miles, you'll be in N.C.! You can't take coolers with you, but it's still worth it to get away from the crowded beaches elsewheres in Va. Beach. I think you might... more
