I took the Victoria Star in September 2009 and had the greatest trip. There is a certain old-fashioned feel to travelling this way that made it quite fun. The crew on both the outbound and return trips were excellent. The captains were knowledgable and shared info about local history and ecology. On the outbound trip, we saw many, many Orcas.... more
