The park has many opportunities for outdoor activities, from picnicking to mountain biking. the terrain is varied from easy to moderate and the park is still close to major urban areas, so it's easy to pick up your supplies nearby before going there to have an afternoon in the park. Also, Bastyr University is on the border of the park.

Trek through the serene, lush Northwest woodlands to reach a personal view of Lake Washington. Several paths to select. Some paths allow trek biking. Paths go down hill to Lake Washington and go uphill to parking lot & playground. Trek will workout your heart and may soothe your mind. Be prepared to pay several dollars for parking.

Great place! Hike down to the waterfront, the only undeveloped spot on lake Washington.
