We stopped at the Cider Works on our way back from Leavenworth, and we were pleasantly surprised! Their Cider Slushies are really, really good, their milkshakes are thick and creamy and their ice cream is really good as well. We missed the cider pressing...apparently that happens on Saturdays, and the homemade doughnut making, but we did pick up some hard... More

A tourist map of the Wenatchee area reviews the spectacular Orondo Cider Works, where you can watch cider being made, buy it fresh, and get all kinds of fresh fruit from the area. A red barn-looking building on the side of the highway appears quaint, but our first steps in the door brought us into what looked like half produce... More
