We stayed in downtown Seattle and decided to take a trip to the falls. Didn't take us long to get there and boy were we impressed. Like that you can walk right to the top or take a 1/2 mile hike down. Boy was the hike worth it. We really enjoyed it. A must see! more

Beautiful & Free! They have added more parking since the last time we were there. It is a quick walk to the viewing platform to view nature in all her glory. more

From the upper viewing deck the view is spectacular. We went in late June and with all the snow runoff still going on the falls were in full effect. We went in the late afternoon and got a clear-as-day rainbow from the mists. After viewing from the top we decided to be adventurous and hike down to the bottom. We... more

We just visited the falls and were so impressed with its incredible beauty. We did not get a chance to go down the trails as we were with some older people, but I certainly hope to return some day and do so. I found the place to be inspiring, beautiful, and meditative. It's no surprise that they used this for... more

I imagine that the out-of-town visitors to the falls who were unimpressed saw it during August. The best time to visit is during the spring runoff, when the snow in the mountains is melting. We visited at the end of May. It was a magnificent, warm, sunny day that brought out the crowds. The parking lot was near full, the... more

We went with low hopes after reading the other reviews here, but honestly, the falls are beautiful, and we took the REALLY steep hike down (and boy is it hard walking back up!!) and enjoyed our short stay there. We didn't take advantage of the little shopping area there, or the picnic tables set out all over, but they do... more

Snoqualmie Falls was recommended as a sight to see. Nothing real exciting. The excitement happened when we returned to our car and noticed that the passenger window was broken into and contents of our car were stolen. According to the local police, the hotel management does not want to pay for security to patrol the lots, and this is a... more

Our waiter at the Perkins told us we couldnt leave Washington without seeing Snoqualmie Falls. As it turned out, we could have. This is a crowded tourist trap with some really small unimpressive falls. Avoid. more
