I love Riverside State Park because it's a great place for a BBQ. It's only about 20 minutes outside Spokane but you'll feel that you are in the wilds of Washington. The trails are easy and scenic. It's a wonderful place for a weekend camp out.

The site of the Spokane Worlds Fair, the park is showing its age. There is some construction going on but could use some sprucing up.

The main playground has a huge wagon slide with monkey bars hanging under. the carosel was fun and the gondola ride was enjoyable, it was a bit overpriced at $19 for 2 adults and a child. Worth checking out.

I love Riverside, I usually visit several times a month during spring and summer. Never crowded, except the area by the cmpsites and the bridge, but I usually hike or sit by the river in non-developed areas.

When I go for my walks it's so peaceful and quite there the min reason I go there is to Fall in love all over again with our Beautiful Waterfalls. That's heaven to me ... that and soft served ice cream.

I love to travel around America. Riverside Park is a perfect example of why. For not a single dime we (one mom and two 8-year-olds) ran around, played on slides, saw sculpture, read about history and admired amazing falls. At the right time of day we would have had a perfect place to picnic. The bike officers were super friendly... More

It was hard to find a good parking spot but we did and then had a nice walk along the river in the park which is right down town. Good spot for kids, lunch break, relaxing.
