I grew up on this hill and even when I get to ski in big resorts in Denver, I compare them to my favorite place--which is still Mission Ridge. We get more sun and less wet, soggy stuff than the other places in Washington.

Mission Ridge is in the heart of Washington State where the jagged peaks of the Cascade Range meet the high rugged desert of eastern Washington. A volcanic past has created a ridge where snowcapped peaks shimmer on one side and the Columbia River rolls majestically through eastern Washington on the other. Best Powder in WA State! Four Chairlifts 1 being the Liberator high speed four seater. Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful!!! Mission Ridge is located right in the center of the state where they get all the sunshine! Spring skiing is awesome! Amazing views from the summit, mild climate, and spacious lodge with good food. They have both a full-service restaurant and caffeteria style eating area, and an additional lodge half way up the mountain only accessible by the ski lifts. Prices are very reasonable, considering it is a much smaller ski resort than a lot of the others in the pacific...
