Went to the amphitheater for live music. It was packed with people. Variety of vendors and great band made for an entertaining evening. I highly recommend if you are looking for something to do. Pack a cooler and bring a comfortable chair.

Nice view of the river and all the bridges. A nice area to jog also along the waterfront

Thee are many activities at Haddad Riverfront Park during the summer months. Starting with the "Live on the Levee" events. Beginning in May, there is a free concert every Friday evening. The concert series is scheduled to begin every Friday at 6:30 and end by 9:30. On most nights, opening acts will play a one-hour set, and the featured artists... More

This is a really nice place to have an event, only there never is. The Mayor has cut all funding for the cities entertainment. The state capital doesnt even have fireworks for new years.
