We have been visiting the Canaan Valley "Old Timberline" area for about 20 years. The beautiful mountain scenery is always wonderful in the fall and we make it an annual event. I just returned from a Valentine's day weekend trip with my girlfriend and one other couple at timberline. All of us absolutely loved it. the skiing was great (12'' of fresh light powder), our accomodations new, clean and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere perfect. This is by far one of the nicest resorts in the OH/PA/WV ski area. This isn't fancy, the lodge is rustic at best, but the friendliness and intimacy of this resort far exceeds it's size.
