We signed up for this trip April 2nd and at 4:30a.m (the morning of the trip) we received a call that the train company switched cars for our trip and they had to eliminate 2 people. . that was us. We took a Friday day excursion of the New Tygart Flyer from Elkins to Tygart Junction. It was a round trip of about 52 miles and took approximately four hours. We took the dinner train. Dinner was mediocre at best. The Upper Falls are less than amazing. One of the worst values for the money in this area. more
