You are almost guaranteed to see a bald eagle during the ride. If you like trains you will certainly enjoy a trip on the Potomac Eagle.

Beautiful views, watched bald eagles in flight. Friendly people and a good investment in time for anyone who likes trains.

The train is very old, and not very comfortable. I did enjoy the scenery.

The trip was a nice ride however it was a little long. We did see some deer and a Bald Eagle. My husband got a little tired of looking at trees, and the river after a while.

my wife and i went on a bus trip to romney, wva and rode on the potomac eagle scenic railway. the cost was excessive for what we received. the food served that day was supposed to be chicken pot pie. it looked like sos that i got when in was in the army. the biscuit under it was ice cold.... More
