Its a little hard to find, but worth the effort. You can climb the lighthouse and view the living quarters or browse the grounds. There is an extra fee for climbing the 97 steps, but worth the price and the time.

We have visited the Cana light many times. Some times with our children, other times with travel companions. Some with higher water and most with a dry causeway. It's always been fun and enlightening. Buy a trinket at the lighthouse shop.

My wife and I came here and had been here before but this time we decided to actually climb the tower. We got here about 10:00 and went behind the light house to the beach before going into the lighthouse. Mistake. You have to get a number for the tour, and by the time we did this, there was another 25 minute wait. There isn't enough to look at in the lighthouse for that long... so get your number first, and... Parking is at a premium, so go early in the day. Large vehicles will have a difficult time finding room to park and turn around. The view from the tower is worth the extra $4.00 and walk up the 97 spriral staircase steps to the top!

My husband and I were a little surprised with the cost, $6.00 to see the lighthouse, plus an additional $4 to go up to the top, but we figured "while in Rome....". At first we thought the price was a little steep for visiting the lighthouse but we are glad we did it. We loved the views on the beach, my daughter had so much fun jumping on the rocks and would have stayed all day if we would've let her!
