The Wildlife Sanctuary is a fun place to see animals of Northest WI, walk in the woods, and feed the geese. Admission is free, walking the area can take up to two hours, less if you walk fast. My wife and I took our kids, a six and two year old, to Green Bay for a few days. Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary was one of our favorite stops. We visited during mid-October, and the leaves were beautiful. We enjoyed the trails, and hiking out to the wild animal displays. The indoor displays at the main lodge are interesting.... more

You dont get much for free these days. But the Wildlife Sanctuary provides excellent free family entertainment. They have a number of animal exibits. Two buildings with indoor exibits and a number of outdoor larger animal exibits. They have a really nice collection of birds of prey (a variety of hawks, eagles and owls). I visit the Wildlife sanctuary almost every year, the fall season is particularly beautiful when the leaves are changing colors and falling. There are a lot of wonderful exhibits to see. My wife & our two year old daughter found this place a nice experience, just a basic sanctuary with about 50 or 60 animals. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. more
