The musuem was small enough to not get boring. It is modern enough that the exibits are interactive. Much different than museums that I remember as a child. Very educational

This newer museum has displays with so many facts-it gives a person a REAL close and personal view into the Civil War. The LEST WE FORGET display that shows soldiers from all the Wars and a spot empty for the next war-is worth the goose bumps and shivers you get when you look intot he faces of the soldiers-who are... Civil War Museum in Kenosha is like no other museum in the country. No current museum explores this war as seen and experienced on the home front, nor the connections between the home front and the battle front. Through state-of-the-art museum technology, life-size dioramas, and interactive engaging exhibits, visitors travel back in history to the social, political and economic influences... More

Once the Auto Plant fled Kenosha, people thought it was the end of Kenosha as we knew it! Well, with the help of the Mayor, and the Common Counsel, it LIVES. Large museum that was recently built. Main exhibit teaches so much about the Civil War including having life-like figures that tell experiences of everyday people from that time. Go Upstairs and the is a library with fun activities kids (and adults) enjoy.
