I started here and took the .25 cent trolley to the other museums. I think I spent maybe 5 bucks total and enjoyed the three museums all on the Trolley route. Great place for a cheap date.

I wish there was more to this museum than one room. I was so amazed by the one room I was ready to explore more, but there was nothing else. I was disappointed, but I do see the potential this museum can have with proper donations etc:):)

We live in Kenosha 18 years and recently decided to visit this museum again (75th Anniversary Exhibit through spring 2012). It still has FREE admisssion! The Dinosaur Discovery Museum opened in August, 2006 in a renovated 1908 Beaux Arts historic landmark in the heart of beautiful Downtown Kenosha. The main gallery of the Museum shows the link between birds and... More

There is just one hall filled with dinosauers from around the world. The "bones" like most displays these days are casts of the real bones kept elsewhere. Three videos are available for viewing, one showing the team that works out of here out on a dig. The lab downstairs is sometimes open. Note the preserved architecture of the building which... More

This is a very small museum, though very nicely done. We took our nephews here (ages 8 and 5) and it held their interest for about 20-30 minutes so I'm glad it was free. Worth a visit if you are into dinosaurs though!

I was expecting a little bigger but it was still small and quaint. It is 1 medium sized room with about 20 dinosaur skeletons on display and information posted about each one. There are some wall displays too. The basement had some organized activities but not at the time we were there.
