Area used to be the place to shop, eat, visit, etc. Now seems to be very run down. Only thing of interest now is the Italian grocery store and even that has changed drastically. Very expensive.

Fun to walk around and stop by the cafe and tea houses, browse through one of a kind outiques. Very eclectic mix.
Brady isn't so much a place as it is a neighborhood. The small shops and restaurants are the draw, even if you're from the area. Be sure to stop in at Sciortino's Bakery for a snack. Yes, bread really can be that good. There are plenty of fine locally owned and operated spots to eat that would each merit their...

I lived in close proximity of Brady Street and it is a very diverse neighborhood with good restaurants, bars, and business. Close to downtown Milwaukee as well so a short drive can have you taking in all kinds of different experiences. Parking is never very easy on weekends though so be aware. Definetly visit Scortino's Bakery, and Glorioso's market.
Well, aside from the usual haunts like the Nomad or the Up and Under (where I spent a lot of time in law school), there are some new places cropping up and some leaving which make it always an interesting place to visit. The new Thai place is awesome and of course, Glorioso's market is always a wonderful place to...

I was once up and down street to complete a one-time job in 1997. The street features various shops, restaurants and entertainment venues not found in your average mall. Major attractions include the Comedy Cafe and the Oriental Theater. Find parking at one of the area side streets (check signs).
The Brady Street neighborhood is eclectic, vibrant and offers a variety of things to do. There are great restaurants and bar/pubs...along with local vendors that offer a diverse option for your shopping pleasure. There is a fantastic local ethnic grocery store (Italian) and a historic/outstanding bakery. This isn't your typical neighborhood....it is diverse and full of young, hip and mature...

My husband and I love to walk along Brady Street on a warm summer evening and stop at the eclectic bars and restaurants, as well as window shop. We love The Nomad (esp their happy hour). We always rifle through the racks at the second-hand shops and have definitely found a few "must-haves."
Some of the best pubs and places to eat in town are here. And Glorioso's. I still remember going to the old store in the '60's with my grandpa. Now I do it with my kid.
Lots of cool places to eat or hang out. Some fun shopping too.
