Pretty lake, but there are only two sites that the public can enjoy the lake - the City Beach (crowded) and Bender Beach - not as crowded usually, but very small.

Oconomowoc is the city, use to be charmig, but time has taken it's toll. The lake is shallow, and unfortunetly infested with zebra mussels. If you go in the water bring your water shoes. If you boat it, the homes and mansions are interesting to see.
We live only a hop, skip, jump from this beach and it is a clean beach. There are lifeguards, a concession stand, a band shell, a new pier for jumping off of. Everything is very clean and tidy and here is shaded areas for those who need or want to stay out of the sun.
Very pretty area.. would love to own a home here. Lots to do on the water, nice places to eat, relaxing times at the waters edge. Bring a lunch and enjoy!!
This one of several great lakes in the area that gives pride to the land known as lake country. Locals enjoy a variety of pubs, bars and restaurants that are excellent.
We love this lake. It is a big plus for the city and a fun place to visit.
Lac La Belle has two great beaches; one is bigger and can get a bit crowded on a hot day, and the other one is much smaller on another side of the lake (it's kind of hidden). For something to do with the kids outside of going to a park, this is a great family activity.
