Wright has taken a structure with no outside features to highlight and made it beauty from inside. He uses tubular glass to diffuse the natural and manmade light to form a perfect office enviroment. It is amazing that you do not miss the outside light and do not search for windows. It was incredibly innovative for its time and looks... More

Combine your visit to the Administration Building with a trip through Forteleza Hall and a film in the Golden Rondelle, and you will enjoy an introduction to SC Johnson and the family's long term relationship with architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

We have sought out many of Frank Lloyd Wright's buildings over the years (Guggenheim, Falling Water, Taliesan West and Midwest, Robe House, Greycliff, Dana House), but the SC Johnson Administration Building just never came into view until we targeted it for a special visit. We were simply spellbound! Referred to as a "corporate cathedral", it is truly one of the... More

My son is an intern with S.C. Johnson. He realy likes working for this company. They have given him this great oppertunity to work there to experience first hand on what he would encounter at a job with his major in computer science. He has learned so much and realizes what a great company this is! They treat everyone so... More

This is at the top of our list of things to see in Racine. This building is truly an architectural masterpiece of Frank Lloyd Wright and the descriptive film of its building is simply amazing. The workroom has maintained the integrity that FLW established and while it is still a working space, one must marvel at his genius seeing it.... More

I'm partial to this architectural marvel because my spouse works here, but it really is an architectural masterpiece. Moreover, SCJ has done an awesome job of keeping the building true to its origins. It's a must-see for any FLW fan or any fan of architecture generally.

Wow wow wow! We so enjoyed our tour of this fantastic facility! After seeing photos through the years, I thought I understood the building, but seeing it in person is just mindblowing! Our tour guide was Alix - and she's superfantastic and so friendly. Unfortunately, you can't take a camera into the building, but you can take pics outside the... More
