I visited this museum many years ago, and the life sized Biblical carvings was like taking a walk through the Bible and time, but in giant wood carvings. It is quite stark inside, but that is for a reason, so that the viewer will not be distracted from the carvings, and the meaning of them. I enjoyed imagining what went... More

This was a strange experience-when you walk in, you enter a room filled with items that look like a thrift/junk store. The foyer is dark and kind of creepy. If you know the scriptures and the Lord you will appreciate your time here. We saw it 18 yrs. ago and I still talk about it from time to time. The defeat of Satan at the empty tomb was especially moving.

It costs $5.25 plus tax (June 2007) and takes about 10 minutes to see it all, including reading everything. Its just a lot of wooden statures carved the same way. A local woman recommended it to us. It might be interesting to super religious people, but i really felt like I got ripped off. Go ride the train in Spooner... More
