Despite an extremely knowledgeable tour guide, the pricey "Highlights Tour" (there are several tour versions) came up thin. The studio and house are lackluster by today's standards and time and insufficient funds have allowed them to deteriorate. The tours here are pricey, and there isn't a lot to see. The buildings look pretty ordinary to a modern person, and they've gotten very run-down looking over the years. We took our daughter because she wanted to study architecture, but neither she nor we were inspired.

Very good tour of the house and school that Wright build in Spring Green, WI. You can also do a longer tour that includes the grounds around the house and school. If you are a lover of Wrights architecture you really must see these fine examples too. Tour guides are very good and knowledgable about everything FLW.

Taliesin and the surrounding properties are a must see for every FLW fan! It is an all day activity and you wont want to miss anything so make sure you plan enough time for your trip. The architecture was fabulous and the rolling green hillsides were breathtaking!

We saw Taliesin I and the studio. Loved the guided tour and wished we could have seen more, but we hadn't made advance reservations. Learn from our mistake and buy your tickets ahead!

Frank Lloyd Wright is an internationally acclaimed architect. Visiting his personal home and estate in the lovely countryside is a humbling experience- you can see the drafting table where he quickly sketched out the plans for the Fallingwater home. This is still a working architectural school.

I have been here a few times and really enjoyed it. There is so much history about Frank Lloyd Wright who designed this, and lived here. Not a place for young kids.
