We are a family of five (the kids are 5, 9 and 11) who passed Casper on the way from Denver to Montana. We loved it!!! This museum goes into the perfect amount of depth on westward expansion. Wonderfully interactive, my kids loved it. The information I got here served of great use to many of our later trips to historical trail related sites. more

One of the best small museums that I have been to. Very nice displays and exhibits about the many westward trails that converged in that area (Oregon, Mormon, California, Pony Express routes).
