I've never stayed in the lodge but love to go for the art shops and the burgers. It's a fun place to hang out. The symphony concert series is very good. And I splurge on a Tram ride at least once a year.

If you are in the area, don't discount Jackson Hole Ski Resort over Grand Targhee because you have children or are an intermediate skiier. Although JH has a lot of advanced terrain, you have to remember they are a lot bigger than the competing Ski Resort so you have a lot more to ski and enjoy for your ability level.... More

From the views of the Tetons, the convenience of the gondola and tram, the huge vertical drop, and the availability of a number of high-end liftside quality lodging opportunities to the very, very reasonable cost of lodging in nearby Jackson, JHSR is a gem.

This is a great mountain. Not a great beginner mountain, though. Runs are long, Challenging and beautiful. A weekend in Jackson is just amazing too.

Great ski field for an Intermediate to Excellent skier - not for the faint hearted, as runs would be mainly Blue/Double Blue/Black/Double Black. There are only a few very easy green runs. Heaps of variety and enough to keep you going for a weeks awesome skiing.

Skiing was spectacular and unlike here on the East coast there was no shortage of snow. The Mountain views were beautiful and the village was nice. The "apres ski" was definitely not as good as I expected.

In my opinion, Jackson Hole Ski Resort is world class. The lift lines move swiftly and they have a wide variety of skiing terrain. Rental equipment is top notch and there are a good number of places to eat.

Full day lift ticket was the most expensive I've ever paid - $95 for the day - but aside from that this place is great. Better for skiers than boarders due to the steep vertical drop, but hanging over towards the right side of the mountain for us intermediate/advanced level boarders. Beautiful place!

We loved Osteria. Shopping is really great. Don't miss the cross country skiing outfit just across the street.
