We stopped in as a break from our 10-hour driving day. The town isn't finished yet, but it is a nice start. The prison itself is an interesting self-guided tour. There is a lot to read about, including the prisoners themselves (how much time they did and what they did to get themselves in the joint!) Back in the day,... more

If you are really into the old west and want to see what happened to the bad guy then this is the place for you to visit. My father and I took a tour of the prsion and the park in 2008. His Great grandfather use to be a gaurd there. It is a self tour which is nice cause... more
