I have to start this review by saying my husband is obsessed with coffee and can ask a million questions. And that's just what he did during our Hula Daddy's tour. I think the tour is supposed to last about 20-30 minutes, but we were there for well over an hour, and nobody minded. Our tour guide was newer, yet... More

We drove up to Hula Daddy based on other TA reviews we read. When we got there, we tried the coffee, and it was pretty good but a pound was $67!!! We would NEVER pay that much for coffee. We were tempted to take the free tour but it was raining and we decided we weren't going to buy anything... More

If you want to experience a coffee farm here is the place to go. We heard about Hula Daddy from a trusted source and we went with the recommendation. What a delight! Laura was our guide and was nothing short of fantastic. We learned all the details of how fine coffee is made and roasted, we learned about the roasting... More

This place serves up a wonderful view and excellent coffee. The staff is very knowledgeable and also offer a guided tour. Unfortunately we didn't do the tour while we passed by but did sample the medium and dark roast coffee flavors. I wound up purchasing the medium roast. At $35/lb it sound's steep but the coffee is that GOOD. Well... More

If your wanting to see a more native approach to the coffee plantations on the island this is the perfect place. They have a small lobby in akitchen like setting with their normal dark roasted coffee and medium roasted coffee. The tour is free and about 20-30 minutes at the most and takes place once a small group forms up.... More

Unfortunately I had a bit of a bad stomach today, so no coffee for me, but the little lady did the testing. She is the coffee buff anyway... She loved it, and let me tell you she knows about her coffee. Nicaragua, South Africa..she was everywhere tried everything and Kona seems to be her favorite. The tour was short, but... More

So, we visited the plantation several months back, but wanted to write a quick note. I've belonged to their coffee club ever since and get a bag a month. Although it is the most expensive coffee you'll ever have, it's definitely the Best. I look forward to the weekend date with my French Press and coffee experience every weekend when... More

We tried samples of four different types of coffee blends here -- the view from the main building is stunning and even better when you're sipping on fresh Kona coffee! We were also taken on a short tour of the grounds to see the coffee cherry trees, and to see the roaster. The staff are very friendly, and the tour... More

We visited Hula Daddy as part of a tour. It was almost like visiting a microbrewery. You learn a lot more than when you visit a big brewery. We walked in and they had free samples of coffee, and you were not limited to 1 cup. My wife probably had 5 or 6. Then the tour started. The young lady... More

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, but the tour was surprisingly short and the bulk of it was a sell job on how great Hula Daddy Kona Coffee is. Granted, that's somewhat expected since it's free, but given how positive all the other reviews were, I expected more. If you're interested in coffee and looking for something cheap to... More
