FBI (From Big Island) Surf School was just what we'd hoped: friendly surf guides, adventurous enough for 1st timers, lots of time on the board. FBI provided 2 instructors for the three of us- parent, 15yr old, 11 yr old - which is a great ratio and meant we has maximum opportunity to ride. FBI provides all equipment: booties, rashguards,... Finding a surf school on the Big Island shouldn't be too hard, but after sending out a couple of emails, the FBI (From Big Island) surfschool, was the one who responded immediately. Our teenage daughters took 2 hour lessons and were standing up in a relatively short time. They liked it so much we are going back again

Osean was a great instructor and was very helpful. He definitely knows how to surf and how to teach. He was nice enough to get an extra instructor for free, which helped teach the three of my boys in the lesson. It was totally worth it!
