Riding through Holualoa, we saw a sign for Kona Le'a Plantation, advertising free tours.
We drove in and parked, and were given a nice map and explanation of how to see the coffee growing and roasting process.
As you park the car, there were coffee trees with beautiful red coffee berries. Then you walk to see where the berries are...

It was fun to spend a few minutes walking around this plantation, factory, and roastery. We rented a car for the day while in port at Kona and got a map from the car rental company and just did our own thing which included going up historic little roadways and visiting a plantation or two and going to the beach....
