Very peaceful and relaxing beach in the great city of Hanalei. Plan a trip to have to a picnic dinner on the pier to catch the sunset.

Wow amazing views form this beautiful beach, some picnic tables to bring your lunch, water was awesome.

Such a great town and views of the mountains with waterfalls and also the ocean. Perfect!

I don't know what all the hype is about this beach. It was definatly not our favorite on the island, or even in the top 5. We stopped for an early morning stroll, and we were out with in an hour. Just nothing special when you have so many other amazing sights to see on the island.

Two mile crescent shaped beach voted one of the top ten most beautiful beaches in the world. Surfing, paddle boarding, body surfing and very family friendly all in one spot.

We chose Russel Lewis from Backdoor Surf shop to give us lessons. He is a surf coach. Teaching 17 years there and a two time champion from Australia. Great guy. One on One instruction for the two of us. And we both had fun and got up the first try. After two hours we were cooked. Thanks Russel

This beach was great for just about anything. Picnic, surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, catching the sunset. Wish we had time to spend another day there--I think it would have been the best place for a beginning surfer to practice.

We went here one night for a sunset and we were blown away. We walked the quiet beach and took a ton of pictures! Such a great spot to have a romantic sunset drink, or meal, and memorable photos too. Absolutely Beautiful! Indescribable beauty!

Hanalei Beach had a little bit of everything.....kayakers, boats, surfers, swimmers, fishing, sun-bathing, beautiful sunsets, beautiful landscape, landmark pier. There was ample parking, and the people showed up in droves to watch the beautiful sunset.
